Yoga Teacher Training at Sacred Space

Krista has been teaching yoga in Greeley since 2002 and has been certifying other teachers through her school since 2009. This 200-hour level yoga school is committed to getting students to a position of being confident yoga instructors. Students are expected to teach poses/asanas throughout the course and finish certification by teaching twelve classes at the studio. That said, a heavy emphasis is placed on the eight limbs of yoga, knowing that yoga is the science of self-realization. Students are expected to do as much work internally as externally. This is truly a life-changing experience! Other topics include anatomy, energy anatomy, and introduction to Ayurveda. Students are expected to attend eight classes per month at the studio and have a free membership while training. This course meets the requirements of the 200 hour standard for Level #1 Yoga with Yoga Alliance.
With a free membership to the studio offered during training, students are expected to attend at least eight classes per month.
Group yoga teacher training is usually offered every spring and fall each year. Group training meets 9 to 5 every Sunday and many students form life long friendships here.
Private/ individualized yoga teacher training is also offered and can be a really good fit for people wanting a more intimate training or need a longer timeline to train or simply cannot meet on Sundays.
NEW - Online yoga teacher training is now available for those unable to make into the studio. This is a big discount and may be the right fit for you! Many people have found they prefer learning from the comfort of home. This training includes access to workshops and classes online.
